More About Me

Hi! My name is Kaitlin Bunn and I’m a 31 year old UX designer from Atlanta, Georgia. I have a major in English with a minor in professional writing, but my real passion is (and has always been) web design and creation. As soon as my dad bought me my first computer at the age of 4, I became enamored with the complexities of it and even more so when I explored further as I got older.

I became involved in community forums that focused on writing, migrating to a site called jcink.net (at the time, it was called invisionfree) and spent almost all of my free time there. Before long, I was getting involved in the conceptualization and creation of skins for this site, eventually leading me to create full personal projects and take commissions as a freelancer. I got to do what I loved and get paid for it—not something that many people can say.

This led me into my job as a developer which eventually pipelined me into the role of a Senior Information Architect, using the knowledge I’d gained throughout my years of self-study and skills I picked up as a developer to create modern, user-friendly sites and applications.

Outside of all of this, I’m a huge nerd. My parents first introduced me to MMORPGs when I was in middle school which solidified my love of all things video games. I spend a lot of my free time gaming, especially competitively, and it’s easily turned into one of my favorite hobbies. As far as other hobbies go, I’m a voracious reader, write fiction casually, and just completed building my first ever PC!

Also: My roommate has a cat named Sal who I have unofficially adopted. His favorite hobbies are sleeping and screaming.
